Our vision is to establish standards for walking soccer at a national level, while supporting and promoting the sport at the local level, with the goal of a more inclusive community facilitating the physical and mental well-being of those involved, regardless of background or ability.
Why get involved
Walking soccer is accessible to everyone; it enables anyone, even those with mobility issues, to get their all-important exercise in. Research has shown improved cardiovascular health in those who partake in walking soccer, as well as increased flexibility and increased responsiveness in motor skills, particularly in older individuals.
Beyond physical health benefits, walking soccer promotes a safe, secure environment to enjoy playing the beautiful game. Walking soccer has also been shown to have a positive impact on the mental well-being of players, through enhanced social relations facilitated by a welcoming, friendly environment.
