National Teams
The 2025 FIWFA World Nations Cup — the biggest event in international walking soccer — is set for October 2025 in Torrevieja, Spain.

Over 63 teams from 29 countries will compete across multiple age divisions, including Men’s Over 50, Over 60, and Over 70, and Women’s Over 40, Over 50, and Over 60. New nations like Brazil, Morocco and Colombia will join returning teams from around the world — and Canada is proud to be part of the action!

Walking soccer has exploded globally, and Canada’s continued participation highlights the sport’s growing popularity at home. As our national teams head to Spain, it’s a chance to represent our country proudly on a world stage — and to celebrate sport, community, and competition at all ages.
Support our GoFundMe! Team Canada, which includes the Men’s Over 50s, Over 60s and Over 70s, and Women’s Over 50 teams, is fundraising to help defray our costs for participating in the tournament.

All donations will go to helping players with their expenses, such as tournament fees, team kits, practice field rentals (both here in Canada and in Spain) and ground transportation in Spain. The donations will be pooled and shared equally amongst all the players. You will receive a receipt for your donation from Pay Pal Giving Fund, which is GoFundMe’s Charity Partner. You can use the receipt for income tax purposes.
